Hear what "The Gayford Carbon Strad" sounds like played by the professionals.

TN Premier Bluegrass Fiddler Michael Cleveland shares his thoughts after playing "The Gayford Carbon Strad" 5 string model for the first time and then plays "The Gardenia Waltz" with guitarist Brian Allan.

In 2018 Cleveland was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album for his solo album, Fiddler's Dream, which he won. Three years later, he won the same category with his album The Big Violinist.

Clearly, the IBMA agrees as he’s their most awarded Fiddle Player of the Year with 12 wins, has won Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year six times, and fronts their 6-Time Instrumental Group of the Year. And, Cleveland is a 2018 Inductee to the National Fiddler Hall of Fame.

The Trevor Dick Band performs "Sparrow", their take on the popular classic hymn. Trevor regularly performs on the electric violin but chooses the Gayford Carbon Strad for this performance.

Trevor Dick tries out the 5 String "Cleveland" before it is shipped to Niall Murphy in Ireland. Not only does he say it's the best 5 String we built he also put it through his electric violin pedal effects board for some cool sounding licks.

When Niall Murphy received his 5 String and he immediately sat down and made a "Live" Facebook video to let you all hear the comparison to his wooden 5 String. Once again it arrived in tune, have a listen.
